Our paths continuously crossed at all these parties, shows, and openings. We grew close and I discovered how much more there was to Harry. There was so much we didn’t get to do, didn’t get to see, because time was not on our side. Looking back over our endless threads, we would text for hours: me back in Europe, him in New York or Greenwich, dreaming up trips to New Mexico or Palm Beach. And whenever I was back in New York—both of us usually had a gazillion plans each night—we would often end up just hanging out at his loft in Soho, discussing old movies and which one to watch first, never watching any because we could not stop talking. And so my beautiful friend, I will take you along to some of these places we spoke of, in my heart, in my thoughts, and in my prayers.
